HARDEE
Avocado'HARDEE' IS A LARGE, EARLY SEASON, RED SKINNED FRUIT. THEY ARE KNOWN FOR HAVING A SMALL SEED THAT IS LOOSE WHEN RIPE. FOR THAT REASON THEY ARE NOT ESPECIALLY POPULAR WITH COMMERCIAL GROWERS, BECAUSE THE FLESH CAN BE BRUISED BY THE SEED MOVING AROUND WHILE IN TRANSIT TO MARKET. IN SPITE OF THAT, THEY ARE GROWN COMMERCIALLY ON A SMALL SCALE IN SOUTH FLORIDA BECAUSE OF IT'S UNIQUE COLOR, EARLY HARVEST PERIOD, AND GOOD EATING QUALITY. IT IS A HIGHLY ATTRACTIVE FRUIT THAT WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANYONE'S COLLECTION..
